Welcome

This blog was created to record the lives of knitters for one day. It's inspired by the book called This Day in the Life : Diaries from Women Across America by Joni B. Cole, Rebecca Joffrey and B.K. Rakhra. I heard a really interesting interview with Joni B. Cole about the book and it made me also think about how a normal "boring" day can be so interesting because of the thoughts and feelings on that particular day. Here's an excerpt from another book by the same authors entitled This Day: Diaries from American Women.

If you're not comfortable putting some crazy thought or something online don't feel like you have to. And certainly don't write anything that will get you fired from your job. For yourself this one day be honest and remember that everything that you think or happens in your day doesn't need to be posted. You can definitely filter it for online reading. You also don't need to be near a computer all day, take a notepad or piece of paper to jot down things throughout your day.
